Steps to Lighting the Rear IR Burner:1. Press in and hold the Rear IR Burner knob for 6 to 10 seconds. This will allow
enough gas into the burner for ignition.
2. Prior to sparking the ignition, hold the knob while still pressed in for 3
additional seconds at about ¼ turn, then continue to spark the igniter and turn
the knob to high.
3. Keep the knob pressed for an additional 6 to 10 seconds once the burner is lit,
and then release.
4. The Rear IR Burner should remain lit at this point.
5. If the burner fails to light, turn the knob off and let the gas clear for 5 minutes
before trying again. Repeat the steps above. If you still experience problems,
shut off the gas supply and contact your local servicer or Coyote’s Customer
Service for assistance.
